Essential Travel Information
Physical Effort & Logistics
The walk from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes is flat and not technical, but it takes about 3 hours. It is essential to wear comfortable shoes and carry a light pack. The most demanding part of Day 1 is the 6-7 hour drive, so be prepared for a long day on the road.
Machu Picchu Tickets
Daily entry is strictly limited. QOSQO ADVENTURES secures the best available circuit and time slot at the moment of booking. Your ticket is personal and tied to your passport; please ensure your booking details match your document exactly.
Weather & Seasons
The cloud forest is humid and can be rainy year-round. The dry season (April–October) offers clearer skies, while the wet season (November–March) is greener but more prone to rain. Always carry a waterproof layer.
