By making a reservation with Discover Qosqo, you agree to comply with the following policies. These terms constitute a formal agreement between you and our agency, designed to ensure transparency and excellence throughout your travel experience.
1. Bookings and Payments
- Booking Process: All service requests are subject to availability. A booking is considered formalized and confirmed only upon receipt of the down payment (deposit) agreed upon during the negotiation phase with your sales agent.
- Payment Terms: The remaining balance must be settled according to the specific deadlines and conditions established by your sales agent at the time of booking. Failure to adhere to payment deadlines may result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation.
- Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers and payments through authorized platforms. Please note that all bank fees, transfer commissions, or administrative charges from payment platforms are the sole responsibility of the client.
- Accuracy of Data: It is the client’s obligation to provide accurate personal information (full names as they appear on your passport/ID, dates of birth, nationality, and document numbers). Discover Qosqo is not responsible for inconveniences, fines, or service denials resulting from incorrect information. Any rectification process will be subject to administrative fees.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Client Cancellations: All cancellation requests must be communicated in writing to reservas@discoverqosqo.com. Cancellation fees will be applied according to the following schedule:
- More than 30 days in advance: 80% refund of the down payment, minus any applicable bank fees.
- 15 to 29 days in advance: 50% refund of the down payment.
- Less than 15 days in advance: No refunds will be provided, due to the operational commitments already secured.
Force Majeure Cancellations: In cases of force majeure—such as natural disasters, extreme weather events, strikes, closure of archaeological parks, social unrest, or government mandates—Discover Qosqo reserves the right to adjust itineraries. In these instances, the agency is not liable for direct refunds, but will act as a facilitator to reschedule services or obtain credit certificates, subject to the internal policies of hotels, airlines, and local service providers.
3. Liability, Health, and Risks
- Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for every traveler to have comprehensive travel insurance that provides coverage for medical expenses, repatriation, trip cancellation, and specifically, adventure activities.
- Health and Physical Fitness: It is the client’s responsibility to inform us in advance of any pre-existing medical conditions, food allergies, or physical limitations. The client declares that they are physically fit to participate in the booked activities.
- Adventure Activities: The client acknowledges that activities in Cusco (such as high-altitude hiking or adventure sports) carry inherent risks. The use of safety equipment and strict adherence to the instructions provided by our guides and specialized staff are mandatory. Discover Qosqo declines all responsibility for incidents resulting from the failure to follow safety instructions.
4. Itinerary Modifications
Discover Qosqo strives to adhere to all published itineraries. However, we reserve the right to modify the order of visits, schedules, or logistics for operational, weather, or safety reasons, always prioritizing the passenger’s well-being and ensuring that the quality standard is not compromised.
