Day 1: Cusco – Capuliyoc – Santa Rosa
Setting off from Cusco, we drive to Capuliyoc to begin our 6-hour descent into the heart of the Apurimac Canyon. We conclude the day at our first mountain camp in Santa Rosa (2,230 m / 7,300 ft).
Day 2: Santa Rosa – Choquequirao Citadel
A rewarding 6-hour ascent leads us to the marvelous Inca Citadel of Choquequirao. Spend a transformative afternoon exploring its terraces and temples while enjoying a world-class sunset.
Day 3: Marampata – Chikiska Descent
After a serene morning in the high Andes, we begin our return journey. A 6-hour trek brings us back to the Chikiska camp, surrounded by vibrant local flora.
Day 4: Chikiska – Saywite – Cusco
Our final 4-hour hike leads back to Capuliyoc for a celebratory Pachamanca feast prepared by our team. We visit the mysterious Saywite monolith before returning to Cusco.

We travel across the stunning Andean highlands toward Capuliyoc, arriving around 8:30 a.m. After a fresh breakfast prepared by your trekking chef, we start our trek toward the legendary «Lost City.» The first stage is a 4-hour descent from Capuliyoc (2,950 m) to our lunch spot at Chikiska. This path offers the first staggering views of the Apurimac Canyon, where the landscape shifts from dry mountains to dense cloud forest. After a nutritious meal, we continue for two more hours to our base at Santa Rosa (2,230 m).
