Essential Travel Information
Machu Picchu Circuits
Since June 2024, entry is governed by specific circuits. We aim for Circuit 2 (Classic), which is the most comprehensive. If sold out, we will secure Circuit 1 or 3 and inform you. Early booking is highly recommended to guarantee the best times.
Altitude & Health
While the Sacred Valley (2,800 m) and Machu Picchu (2,430 m) are lower than Cusco, we still recommend spending 1-2 days in Cusco prior to the tour to acclimatize properly. Stay hydrated and follow your guide’s pace.
Tourist Sites
The tour includes the **Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC)** which covers Pisac, Moray, and Ollantaytambo. In your free time in Aguas Calientes, you can visit the local hot springs or the Butterfly Station on your own.
Connectivity
Phone signal is often weak in the mountains. We recommend having your tickets and documents saved offline or printed.
